Planning My Vacation

Step 1: Choosing a Destination.

Choosing a destination for my vacation may be the easiest part of planning the whole trip but planning the details of it is the hard part. A few people have it down to a science and some do everything last minute. When you wait until the last minute to plan your trip it can end up being very expensive. I prefer to keep it simple and take my time planning my trip, keeping it as stress free as possible. The first step in planning your vacation is choosing the destination. I make sure that it is somewhere that my companions and I are going to enjoy.

Step 2: Savings , Documentations , Parking , Choosing  dates and season

You must now start saving your money for your trip. Vacations are expensive, that is why you take them only once or twice a year. What I do is total up my expenses and put a certain amount of money away into my savings account every week. As I prepare to leave for my vacation I would begin packing my luggage about two or three days and arrange all the necessary Identification documents before leave for your vacation. Packing early makes for less stress on the day you leave because you will be stressing out enough trying to make sure that you have all your belongings. Start by packing the basic essentials such as socks, undergarments and t-shirts. Then pack a few pairs of jeans and/or slacks, dressier shirts for going out in. Don’t forget the bathing suit too. You’re going on vacation so pack comfortably after you have chosen the location. The next thing you must do is choose the dates that you will be going on your vacation but you must also make sure that they corresponds with the climate. If you decide to go to a warmer climate then you may want to go between the months of October and May because the temperatures are not so extreme.

Step 3: Reserve Airfare and Hotel

This may be tough because there are many websites and travel agents that you can go through. I have found that it is cheaper and easier to go through applications such as Agoda.com, Expedia.com etc. You can book your hotel and flight all together and pay one low price. I have also found that flying with AirAsia is very cheap and they have many one way stops all across the country and for a cheap hotel that is very nice.
While you are on your vacation make sure you make plenty of time for sightseeing.

Finally, Its go time, Embarking on the vacation.

When its due time go for the vacation and have as much fun as possible. Making the vacation more relaxed and stress free.

Setiap manusia mempunyai perancangan masing-masing. Perancangan masa depan boleh dibahagikan kepada beberapa bahagian seperti jangka masa panjang dan jangka masa pendek. Perancangan ini disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor iaitu umur, persekitaran dan bidang kerjaya dan lain-lain. Kadang-kadang, perancangan yang kita hendaki tidak seperti yang dilalui. Disebabkan itu, kita mestilah mempunyai banyak perancangan seperti plan A , plan B dan plan C.

Bercakap tentang perancangan,  perancangan yang penting adalah tentang kerjaya. Dimana kita suatu hari nanti. Mungkin saat dan tika ini, kita hanya mampu melihat orang - orang yang telah berjaya dalam hidup. Mempunyai keluarga dan anak - anak pasti membuatkan hati kecil kita juga ingin menjejak langkahnya. Dengan mempunyai kerjaya, kita akan mempunyai kewangan yang stabil. Kewangan pada era ini adalah salah satu benda yang amat bernilai dan berharga, tanpa wang ringgit, tidak ada sesuatu yang dapat kita miliki walaupon sekecil - kecil benda. Bukan bercakap tentang sifat materialistik, tapi itulah hakikat sebuah kehidupan yang nyata.

Tapi harus kita ingati, yang perancangan sahaja tidak membuahkan hasil. Ianya mestilah didahului dengan USAHA. Tanpa usaha, perancangan hanyalah semata - mata perancangan, seperti buih-buih ombak yang terdampar di pesisir pantai, yang tidak memberi apa-apa kebaikan. Walaupon kita gagal pada kali pertama, itu tidak bermakna kita gagal untuk selama-lamanya. Jadi teman-teman, jangan berputus asa. Mungkin itu adalah salah satu ujian tuhan kepada kita. Yeahhh💪💪💪. Kita boleh menjadikan idol kita sebagai satu inspirasi kepada kita, seperti Robert Kuok.

Bercakap tentang bidang perkapalan, begitu banyak benda yang perlu dikobarkan agar orang-orang yang tersayang dapat menikmati kehidupan yang baik. Panas terik adalah tempat permainan yang tidak asing lagi. Berada di lautan selama setengah tahun, malah ada yang mencapai 8 bulan tidak menjadi penyebab untuk berputus asa. Beraya berseorangan juga benda yang biasa untuk pelaut. Dan tidak lupa juga meninggalkan isteri dan anak-anak dirumah tanpa bertemu selama 8 bulan dan pasti anak-anak kecil mungkin tidak lagi mengenal pasti kita, munkin menangus apabila mendekatinya. Yelah,8 bulan x pernah nampak kot 💆..

Jadi, untuk mengelakkan bermacam - macam masalah yang mungkin menyebabkan pelaut tidak lagi dapat meneruskan kerjaya tersebut, perancangan harus dan mesti dilakukan. Sebagai contoh, perancangan untuk berkahwin, perancangan untuk membeli aset seperti rumah, perancangan kewangan dan lain-lain. Ada sesetengah pelaut mempunyai perancangan untuk membuka bisnes kecil - kecilan dan menjadikan kerjaya pelaut sebagai sumber untuk mendapatkan modal.

So, kata - kata terakhir daripada saya, rancanglah kehidupan anda semua dan jadikan perancangan tersebut menjadi kenyataan.

Entry kalini nak share pasal 'planning' atau dalam erti kata lain merancang. Seperti kita semua maklum kita hanyalah manusia biasa, insan biasa yang kerdil hanya mampu merancang, disebalik usaha dalam masa yg sama kita berikan, hanya Tuhan berhak menentukan.

Melihat kembali perjalanan hidup yg panjang meniti menuju alam pekerjaan, banyak membuka mata aku sebenarnya. Pada asalnya menyimpan cita2 menjadi pegawai di dalam angkatan tentera namun takdir yg sedia ada tertulis sejak azali bukanlah itu rezeki buatku. 

Cara hidup yg amat berbeza dikalangan orang awam, membuatkan seseorang itu dibentuk identiti dan personaliti mereka. Way too different live as a civilian bak kata orang. 

"May the time heal everything" ternyata benar apa yg dikatakan. Kenyataan akan diterima dimakan waktu. Persepsi orang disekeliling usah dihirau, tomahan mahupun nasihat biarlah berlalu. 

Nasihat buat brothers sekalian yg taklama lagi mengejar lautan, whatever thing we intend to do, biarlah fikir panjang, mungkin takda kesan sekarang tapi mungkin terkesan akan datang. 

So plan seharusnya selari dan sejajar dgn usaha. When youre planning but youre doing nothing, sama je macam nak masak nasi letak air dengan harapan nasi boleh masak tanpa api.

MY G IDOL

Kikuo Ibe may not have a watch brand named after himself but he has to be one of the most well known and respected influencers of the watch industry. We have covered an extremely wide range of Casio G-Shock watches here, and yet, in line with Japanese watchmaking culture, it is exceedingly rare that we are given proper insight or interesting droplets of information.

That however, is exactly what has happened with this recently released official video titled “The Story Behind G-Shock.” In it, Ibe-san explains why and how the G-Shock came to be and how he and his team could overcome the innumerable challenges that it meant to develop the world’s first “watch so durable it wouldn’t break even when dropped” in the early ’80s – that was Mr. Ibe’s mission statement after he dropped and broke a watch he received as a gift from his father.

After two years of painstaking trial and error, and at a time when he was nearly ready to give up, he came upon a child playing with a ball  and that, as he puts it, resulted in a dramatic shift towards the solution. Fast-forward to today, and innovation couldn’t be further from stopping at Casio, as Ariel found out during his in-depth Casio manufacture

As G-Shocks continue to merge durability and toughness with the latest technology, and as they become tougher and more focused on meeting the requirements of yet more specific use scenarios (firefighters, rescue workers, fighter pilots, different types of divers, and more), Ibe’s advice to people and, he adds, to himself is to “never give up and overcome any hardships to reach their goals.”

A rare and more concrete thing to learn was Ibe’s appreciation of how Japanese culture incorporates the notion of how there is strength hidden in being elegant. While that in itself makes total sense when said out loud, to project that onto a watch and especially a G-Shock is much more unusual. While G-Shocks push to continue to succeed with a young demographic has resulted in some decidedly bold and colorful pieces, you can still easily find some genuinely elegant G-Shocks out there.

My IDOL M. J.

My hero is Michael Jackson. His full name is Michael Joseph Jackson and he was born on August 29th, 1958. His nicknames are ‘MJ’ and ‘The king of pop’. His father’s name is Joseph Walter and his mother’s name is Katherine Esther. He has 10 siblings including 4 sisters and 6 brothers. Michael was apart of a band called ‘The Jackson 5' or ‘J5'. The band consisted of brothers- Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and of course Michael. In 1972 Michael got a solo career and so far he has made 11 albums, and he is expecting to come out with another one this year. As a child, Michael had a strict life. His father would beat him with a belt when ever he did something wrong. He is my hero for 3 major reasons. One being that he suffers from a serious disease but he still insists on performing, and another is he cares about children, and lastly his music inspires people to be happy, and to be yourself no matter what others say about it.

Michael suffers from two can be fatal diseases called ‘vitiligo’ and the other is ‘lupus’. These diseases cause the pigment in your skin to disappear, causing your skin to be lighter. Although many people started rumors saying he was bleaching his skin, he kept his head high and insisted he wasn’t. The pressure of having a disease on top of people making up things about it, he still performed and be himself. With these diseases, he cant go out in the sun for very long or else the disease will come up again. He has to get hydroxychloroquin injected in his scalp regularly as well. With all this pressure, he continues to perform and entertain people. Lastly, he does not show it off that he has a disease, and he never expects any higher privileges or treatment than he has had all his life. All of this shows me that he is a determined person.

Michael cares about people and he provides a lot of money to charities. This shows me that Michael is a caring person and he isn’t selfish.Michael Jackson is an inspiration to many people, to this day. His music inspires people to dance, and sing. He’s an amazing dancer, and has incredible vocal cords. Most of the lyrics in his music aren’t just random words. One in particular is called ‘Black or white’ and it is about promoting racial unity. Another one is the song called ‘Beat it’. Its very popular, and a lot of people know it. Its about gang life, and living on the streets, and why it's dangerous. Another is ‘Heal the world’ and that just what it's about, Healing the world. Most of his music either has meaning, or just makes you happy. No matter what mood I'm in, if I hear a song on the radio like ‘P.Y.T.’ or ‘Thriller’ I can’t help but smile. Lastly, with all this in mind, his music teaches everyone to smile, and his music isn’t just random words, it all means something.

In conclusion, Michael Jackson is my hero because even through his diseases and rumors about it, he’s determined to please the crowds. Also, he cares about people and not just himself and lastly, he is an inspiration to this day. This is why, Michael Joseph Jackson, is my hero.

Staffing

Staffing is a critical organizational function which consists of the process of acquiring, deploying, and retaining a workforce of sufficient quantity and quality to create positive impacts on the effectiveness of the organization. It is the function of manning the organization structure and keeping it manned. Staffing has assumed greater importance in the recent years due to advancement of technology, increase in size of business, complexity of human behavior etc. The main purpose o staffing is to put right man on right job i.e. square pegs in square holes and round pegs in round holes.

A good example to look at in terms of a manager hiring the right man or woman for the right job is the Justin Trudeau's (Canada's Prime Minister) Liberal cabinet. Justin Trudeau is winning high marks for appointing a federal cabinet that includes Canadians from many walks of life. They include a millionaire businessman, a geoscientist, a Paralympian and a refugee who fled the Taliban. Half of them are women.

His finance minister has Master’s degrees in economics and business administration, has a long and successful Bay Street career as founder of a company that now employs more than 3,000, and in which his holdings are reportedly valued at $30 million. He founded a special school for Somali and Sudanese youth in an African refugee camp in his spare time.

Health Minister Jane Philpott spent a decade practicing medicine in Africa, raised $4 million towards AIDS treatment and helped found Ethiopia’s first training program for family medicine. Justice Minister Jody Wilson-Raybould served as a Crown prosecutor in one of Vancouver’s worst neighbourhoods, headed a commission overseeing treaty negotiations with First Nations and has a long and impressive resume of contributions to First Nations governance. Marc Garneau was the first Canadian astronaut to fly in space. Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan spent 11 years as a Vancouver cop before serving with the Canadian Forces in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Afghanistan.

My Role Model - Abraham Lincoln

As the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln represents the perfect role model for me and many of his deeds and actions throughout his career can be looked upon as a good example for lessons in life.

Brief Biography

Abraham Lincoln came from humble beginnings. He was born in a single-room log cabin in Hardin County, Kentucky. His parents were Thomas and Nancy Hanks Lincoln. His father lost everything when Abraham was young and they had to move to Perry County, Indiana where they struggled to get by. When he was just nine years old, his mother died and his sister Sarah took care of him until his father remarried.

Abraham had very little formal education, but had a strong interest in books and learning. Most of what he learned was self-educated and from books he borrowed. His family later moved to Illinois where Lincoln would set out on his own.

As a young man, Lincoln worked a variety of jobs including shopkeeper, surveyor, and postmaster. For a time, he even split firewood with an axe for a living. He soon moved into politics and won a seat in the Illinois Legislature when he was 25.

Top Qualities

President Abraham Lincoln appointed the best and brightest to his Cabinet, individuals who were also some of his greatest political rivals. He demonstrated his leadership by pulling this group together into a unique team that represented the greatest minds of his time, according to historian Doris Kearns Goodwin.

1)Capacity to Listen to Different Points of View

While researching her Pulitzer Prize winning book, Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln, Kearns Goodwin learned that Lincoln had the capacity to listen to different points of view. He created a climate where Cabinet members were free to disagree without fear of retaliation. At the same time, he knew when to stop the discussion and after listening to the various opinions, make a final decision.

2)Ability to Learn on the Job

Lincoln was able to acknowledge errors, learn from them, and then move. In this way, he established a culture of learning in his administration, said Kearns Goodwin.

3)Ready Willingness to Share Credit for Success

In response to concerns expressed by friends about the actions of some of his Cabinet members, Lincoln stated that the "path to success and ambition is broad enough for two" said Kearns Goodwin. When there was success, Lincoln shared the credit with all of those involved.

4)Ready Willingness to Share Blame for Failure

When mistakes were made by members of his Cabinet, Lincoln stood up for them said Kearns Goodwin. When contracts related to the war effort raised serious questions about a member of his administration, Lincoln spoke up and indicated that he and his entire Cabinet were to blame.

5)Awareness of Own Weaknesses

Kearns Goodwin noted that one of the weaknesses acknowledged by Lincoln was his tendency to give people too many chances and because he was aware, he was able to compensate for that weakness. As an example, she stated that George McClellan, Commander in Chief of the Union Army, refused to follow directives about the war effort. Lincoln eventually set a deadline and eventually removed McClellan from the position.

6)Ability to Control Emotions

According to Kearns Goodwin, Lincoln treated those he worked with well. However, he did get angry and frustrated, so he found a way to channel those emotions. He was known to sit down and write what he referred to as a “hot letter” to the individual he was angry with and then he would set the letter aside and not send it. If he did lose his temper, Lincoln would follow up with a kind gesture or letter to let the individual know he was not holding a grudge, said Kearns Goodwin. She noted that one of the letters was released as part of Lincoln’s Presidential papers with a notation that it was never signed nor sent.

7)Go Out into the Field and Manage Directly

During the Civil War, many soldiers died and there were many ups and downs. Lincoln established lasting connections with the troops by visiting the battlefield and hospitals, which also helped bolster morale.Lincoln also spent time talking with members of the public, taking ‘public opinion baths’ according to Kearns Goodwin. He held public receptions and made a point of shaking everyone’s hand and speaking to each individual.

8)Strength to Adhere to Fundamental Goals

In the summer of 1864, said Kearns Goodwin, the war was not going well for the North. Members of his political party came to Lincoln and said that there was no way to win the war and he might need to compromise on slavery. Lincoln held firm on the issue of slavery and turned away from this advice.

9)Ability to Communicate Goals and Vision

Kearns Goodwin stated that Lincoln had a “remarkable ability to communicate his goals to his countrymen.” He made concepts simple and communicated with an understanding of the concerns of the citizens.

When the war ended and he won reelection, Lincoln did not focus on his achievements said Kearns Goodwin. Rather, in his second inaugural speech, Lincoln focused on bringing the country together as expressed in the following excerpt. “With malice toward none, with charity for all, let us strive on to finish the work we are in, to bind up the nation’s wounds, to care for him who shall have borne the battle and for his widow and his orphan, to do all which may achieve and cherish a just and lasting peace among ourselves and with all nations.”

All of the above qualtities clearly portrayed "Honest Abe's" qualities as not only a leader who was smart, but also has a touch of class, quality and retains the human elements such as compassion for other beings and the conscience to treat anyone of any ethnicity as an equal.
